I am looking for info on my great grandfather's family.

They all came from Johnston Co. according to the records I have.

The info I have is as follows:

John William Crumpler b4/1888 d5/5/1932(ggrandfather)

Robert W. Crumpler b2/9/1847 d3/22/1920 (John's father)

Tempie Eason Crumpler b1/10/1855 d5/25/1910 (John's mother)

James Oscar Crumpler b2/22/1891 d9/27/1962 (John's brother)

According to Robert's death certificate his parents were

Garrie (or Gerrie) Crumpler and Cecily Watson(not sure of this one).

I hope someone can help me with this line. I saw Gloria's web page where

she listed the descendants of Tyler Thomas Culbreth. I tie into those Crumplers,

and can expand on that line if anyone needs further info. That line goes back

to the Battens of Johnston County North Carolina. Thanks for any help anyone can

give me.

It looks like your Robert may be the son of Garry Crumpler, son of West Crumpler, grandson of West, great-grandson of Benjamin, ggreat-grandson of William. I don't have a lot of information on this line, so maybe someone else will respond back to this message with more information. Hope this helps.
