    Notes
    • On the assisted-passage list from Hamburg to Port Adelaide (arrived 12 January 1877, departed c. July 1876) this child is entered as ADOLPH, aged 2. The seven passengers are Bruno 35, Elise 32, Ida 9, Marie 4, Emilie 3, Adolph 2, and Otto 3/4 of a year - which accounts for every living child of Bruno and Elisa at that date, so Adolph is Alfred Alois under another given name rather than an additional child. • THE WYSER CHILDREN WHO DIED IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA. In Oct 2009 Cathy and John Bushby searched the Catholic burial records and the public cemetery records in Adelaide for Fanny (d. 1879), Fanny/Bertha Fanny (d. 1881) and Alfred (d. 1881) and found no burials; they may have been buried in a private churchyard.

DISCREPANCY: the death date of the elder Fanny is given as 29 Mar 1879 in the Twigs & Branches report of 7 Sep 2009 and as 28 Mar 1879 in an earlier citation taken from the same research. 29 Mar is kept as the main date until the death registration itself is seen.
